Information for the Sector, May 2019
The microfinance sector in Kosovo has continued to grow during the month of May 2019, the amount of active loans reached the value of 175 million Euro distributed among 84 thousand clients.
According to the AMIK Members' Monthly Report, these are the main data presenting the sector until May 31, 2019:
- Total loan portfolio (assets): 175 million Euros
- Total number of borrowers (active): 84,406
- Average size of loans (assets): 2,079
- Value of new loans distributed: 14.3 million Euros
- Total number of employees: 1021
- Total number of branches: 118
