Information for the Sector, February 2019
The microfinance sector in Kosovo has continued to grow during the month of February 2019, the amount of active loans reached the value of 169 million Euro distributed among 82 thousand clients.
According to the AMIK Members' Monthly Report, these are the main data presenting the sector until February 28, 2019:
- Total loan portfolio (assets): 169 million Euros
- Total number of borrowers (active): 82,255
- Average size of loans (assets): 2,055
- Value of new loans distributed: 12.7 million Euros
- Total number of employees: 1001
- Total number of branches: 116
