Announcement on the work of Microfinancial Institutions following the situation created by the COVID-19 pandemic

Microfinance Institutions of Kosovo (AMIK) are acting on the basis of Government and CBK decisions following the state of emergency created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Association of Microfinance Institutions of Kosovo (AMIK) notifies all clients and partners that they are acting according to Government and CBK decisions following the state of emergency created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Microfinance institutions affiliated with AMIK, branches and headquarters, continue to operate with limited capacity and strict safeguards already in place to protect the health of our employees and customers, and we will all be partners in this extraordinary confrontation.
All MFIs at AMIK are continuing with the function of lending and accepting installment payments while clients are encouraged to communicate with MFI staff for clarification or information, and clients are advised to use internet and other digital telecommunication channels whenever possible.
Individual requests for deferment of installment payments or even loan rescheduling will be dealt with as necessary, following the decisions and instructions of the Central Bank of Kosovo.
Wishing this situation to pass as soon as possible, we invite you to practice self-care and restraint from panic. Together we will succeed!
