Sector Information, March 2023
The microfinance sector in Kosovo has continued to grow even during the month of March 2023, the amount of active loans reached the value of 272 million Euro distributed among 104 thousand clients.
According to the AMIK Members' Monthly Report, these are the main data presenting the sector until March 31, 2023:
- Total loan portfolio (assets): 272 milion Euros
- Total number of borrowers (active): 104,446
- Average loan size (assets): 2,938
- Value of new loans distributed: 25 milion Euros
- Total number of employees: 1126
- Total number of branches: 132
